The Staff and Management at The Oyster Box are committed to supporting and ensuring a sustainable environment both at home, at work and within our communities. We strive to achieve this by actively participating in community projects targeted at sustainability as well as educating and enhancing the lives of others.

The Hotel also efficiently manages and measures our energy needs, reduces demand for energy with the use of new technology, and conserves natural resources. We use products, responsible suppliers and materials that support and encourage sustainable practices and do not threaten our environment. We manage our waste streams to ensure we maximise recycling and minimize our demand on Landfill space. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle are our keywords to a sustainable future.

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection has also become the first worldwide company to achieve the new Gold Standard set by Investors in People, whose standards help organisations in every sector transform their business performance.
