Heritage Food Celebration

Red Carnation Hotels countrywide celebrate Heritage Month with three truly South African dishes, all of which will be available at the three properties throughout the month. Executive Chef Kevin Joseph serves up a traditional ‘Bunny Chow’ at The Oyster Box. The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa Executive Chef Christo Pretorius and Bushmans Kloof Executive Chef Floris Smith have created a tasty ‘Gourmet Boerie Roll’ and a signature ‘Cederberg Bobotie’ respectively.

#CANSAPinkTea

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our High Tea will be pink-themed for the whole of October, with R10 per person attending #CANSAPinkTea, being donated to CANSA. Guest Chef Series: Christo Pretorius

Thursday 1 October

A rising star on the Western Cape’s culinary scene, Christo Pretorius, Executive Chef at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, will cook up a storm at The Oyster Box in October. Christo’s inventive menus, using the freshest local ingredients, skillfully combine savoury and sweet flavours to create unexpected dishes. The five-course plated menu will be paired with KWV wines.
