Just when our world has become too busy, too noisy and too disconnected from ‘quality time’ isn’t it wonderful to know that once again the Oyster Box offers families a classic, cultured and uniquely characterful place to share time, create memories and strengthen family bonds.
The staff at The Oyster Box appreciate the importance and rarity of real, quality family time. That is why we go out of our way for guests and their families. Children of all ages are welcome, and will happily find a whole host of things to do all around the hotel.
Parents will be particularly pleased to find that children under 12 years of age are accommodated free of charge when sharing with two adults. Special touches for children include a gift bag on arrival, free in-room movies from the hotel collection, lists of “things to do” in all types of weather, children’s bathrobes, prams and cots. There’s a screening of children’s films in the hotel’s 24 seat private cinema every afternoon, and the hotel’s pools give them ample opportunities for enjoying themselves. Special children’s menus are also provided so that the little ones can enjoy their favourite foods, making mealtime for fun, not fretting.
A fully equipped, supervised Children’s Club with a range of games and activities makes it possible for kids to play to their heart’s desire while parents go enjoy the Oyster Box their own grown-up way. For younger ones, or for after hours, experienced and trained babysitters are provided through a professional child-minding company.
And of course, just outside the hotel gates the local area also boasts a range of family attractions and activities which are sure to satisfy kids of all ages.
