JULY

The Deconstruction of Johnnie Walker

Join us for an evening of indulgence and dinner with a twist.

Sit back and enjoy a dining experience while we talk you through the different single malt base for each premium Johnnie Walker blended whisky - with  two whisky’s paired along with each course.

Book your Private Wine Cellar Dinner

For a more intimate dining experience, the Wine Cellar, with its glass ceiling, is sunken just below the Oyster Bar and is unique for dinner parties, tastings or special events. 

Bespoke menus are created for every occasion and the resident Sommelier will present a selection of wines from the Diners Club Diamond award-winning wine list, which boasts the finest selection of South African and international vintages.

Time: 18h00 - 22h30 | Maximum 10 guests

Dinner and a Movie

What better way to celebrate Women’s Day than a night out with girls.

Start your evening with a delicious dinng experience in the Ocean Terrace, followed by a film shown in our private cinema. Complete your evening with complimentary popcorn and a glass of sparkling wine.

The Great Oyster Box Bake Off

Fancy yourself a Chef Patissiere Extraordinaire? Then get your whisks ready, dust off your favourite recipes and send through your entries for The Great Oyster Box Bake Off, with General Manager, Wayne Coetzer and Executive Chef, Kevin Joseph, as the esteemed judges.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each class, with a further prize for the overall baking champion. Refreshments and snacks will be available during and after the judging.

Hartenberg Wine Tasting

The Hartenberg Estate is nestled in a valley on the north-eastern slopes of the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch, steeped in great history with the vison to do whatever it takes to produce wines of outstanding quality.

Enjoy canapes on arrival in the Oyster Bar, followed by a perfectly paired three-course dinner in the Grill Room.

Calling all foodie's - if you're looking for something out of the ordinary for an event or occasion, then there's nowhere better than front row seats at the Chef's Table.  

Starting at the Oyster Bar you will enjoy Champagne and canapés, before you move to the kitchen for a ‘behind the scenes’ tour with Chef Kevin Joseph and his talented team. Be part of the action, as the chefs prepare a delicious five-course menu for you to enjoy

Join floral artiste Jill Manson as she  takes you through creating your own floral arrangement using seasonal spring blooms.
